Edward J. Ledoux, 94, passed on December 4, 2023. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Joseph and Celina (Gingras) Ledoux.
Edward had been employed as a truck driver for Choiniere Trucking, Holmes and Spector Trucking for many years before retiring and enjoying life. He was a passionate CB (er) in the 70’s and 80’s under the name of Glad Hand.
Edward enjoyed digging clams and was known for his clam chowder and clam zuppa, he also loved surf fishing at the Charlestown Breachway. One of his fondest memories was belonging to and being the catcher of Skyway Constructions softball team.
In 1986 he had an adventure with his son-in-law, Chris driving cross country from California to RI to bring his youngest daughter Diana to her wedding. His longevity was achieved by the love he gave and received from his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by three daughters, Denise Ledoux, Claudia Mutter, her husband Chris and Diana Carr. Grandchildren Sarah, James, Kayla, Alithea, Eric and Joel, great grandchildren, Harper, Tristen and Aiden. He was married to the late Gloria V. (Trahan) Ledoux and father of the late Joseph E. Ledoux.

A Celebration of Eddie's life will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 4pm until 6pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Menphis, TN 38148-0142
